Madeline Milton started Play Loud Reviews in 2018 when she was only 16 years old. She grew up in a classically-trained family, and she sings and plays the guitar, ocarina, ukelele, and trombone, herself. Despite her family, she has a distaste for classical training and centered Play Loud around her love for rock and other rebellious music genres. Her favorite articles to write involve analysis, as analyzing songs helped her to pass her AP English courses and develop her voice in informational writing. She currently resides in California and is working towards her degree in journalism.

Finlay Hillman-Brown joined Play Loud in 2020 after meeting Madeline on social media. He is an economics students based in London, England, and he enjoys playing guitar, skateboarding, and film photography. He once reached the regional battle of the bamds finals with his first band, which he names his greatest achievement. He prefers to listen to music through vinyl, and will pretty much review any genre.
